AmesMUG: Excellent Tip

It seems I learn something new on the Mac every once in a while that
just kind of blows me away. For instance, I just learned about the
Stationary Pad option for documents from http://www.tuaw.com/
2007/04/11/tuaw-tip-stationery-pad-option-makes-a-template-of-any-file/

Apparently, if you get info on a file you can select "Stationary
Pad". Then whenever you open the document, it will open as a copy,
so that when you hit save, you will not overwrite the document. This
has been around for quite a while, but I never knew what that option
did. Great for making file templates.

Does anyone else want to share some awesome hidden features?

John
