AmesMUG: iphone data rate?

I got one too. Love it!

I tested the edge network at Battles BBQ here in ames around noon  
using the following site.
http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest

Here are my results

Speed 161 kbps (20.125 Kilobytes/second)

Statistics  from 1226 samples	(probably nation wide)

According to the site the these are the averages
all time average:  120 kbps
Last 24 hours: 128 kbps	(797 ms latency)
