Thank you very much for all the wonderful information it really  
helps! I am in somewhat of a dilemma now on which drive to buy! I was  
really excited about a 200GB 7200 rpm drive! Now with the comments  
about Hitachi not being the best i am back to the drawing board. I  
really wanted the extra space and the thought of speed was very  
compelling. I researched other drives by seagate and toshiba and from  
what i am finding they do not run in the higher sizes or speeds at  
this time. Do you think there would be any reason to wait for those  
companies to come out with the larger and faster drives? How bad is  
Hitachi? I read all the reviews on Newegg and people seemed to like  
it there was one person out of 60 that said it died after 3 months is  
that a bad ratio? Everyone else seemed to think it was fine! On the  
other hand i would be devastated to lose everything!
