AmesMUG: Adium crashes ONLY when you connect to a AIM account

Is anybody else been experiencing Adium going crazy lately crashing  
every-time you use it? I used AppZapper to clear cache and preference  
files and through some testing eventually narrowed the problem down  
to Adium connecting to a AIM account. It connects fine to Bonjour,  
Yahoo, MSN, GTalk, etc but the moment it hits AIM it goes haywire and  
freezes everything then crashes. Anybody know what's going on with this?
