After meeting with Jonathan Salvador, the vice president of the Ames MUG, we've decided to hold an event and hopefully restart the Ames MUG. I have reserved Howe 1304 for Thursday, March 11th at 7:00PM. Jonathan is going to prepare a keynote presentation highlighting his CyRide app, and also discuss a little bit about the process of going into it. It should be a good time and i'm going to do everything I can to spread the word and get as good of a turnout is possible. I am aware that the Cocoaheads meeting is going on in Des Moines and if you are unable to make it due to that it's no big deal. I have spread the word to some key contacts around campus and we are hoping for a decent turnout! If you are able to, I would highly recommend stopping by!
